Recreational Training has been purposefully created to bridge the gap between no knowledge and a professional commercial license to allow a recreational user to operate a drone safely and inside the recreational laws.
DRONE PROFICIENCY THEORY TRAINING
You've bought the drone, but learning to fly can be intimidating. This is why Collective Training has designed a short but comprehensive online proficiency course that aims to give you a complete overview of the principles of drone flight and the key legislation surrounding uncrewed aviation, as set out by the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
Designed using an internationally respected learning management software (LMS) used by millions of students worldwide, the online course consists of animation and video tutorials. Students must work through each section and complete accompanying online tests to progress. Upon completing the series, students will receive a downloadable certificate of completion.

DRONE PROFICIENCY PRACTICAL TRAINING
Drone owners who have completed our Drone Proficiency Theory Course will also benefit significantly from completing our Drone Proficiency Practical Course, which provides a brief but thorough overview of a student's drone and how to operate it within the recreational drone law requirements of the SA Civil Aviation Authority.
